Looking for someone with Constructions safety background.
Good computer skills as the person needs to prepare reports, presentation s KPI etc.
Strong computer, communications, and organizational skills.
Certification Required:
OSHA 510 & 30; NFPA 70E.
Overtime:
25% (Need to work on few weekends depending upon the workload) Travel:
No Travel involved.
(Might need to travel just for training purpose).

Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Contractor Safety Representative The primary responsibility of this role is to lead all aspects of contractor safety program to ensure team member safety and regulatory compliance.
You will be required balance company-wide operational hoshin priorities with the obligation to team member safety and compliance through the translation of complex safety regulatory interpretations into actionable instructions and development of technically accurate, standardized safety policies, standards, and programs.
What you'll be doing Work with and direct contractors to implement construction safety management systems and other safety requirements.
Provide safety leadership for both new and existing construction projects including structural steel, mechanical and electrical equipment installation, etc.
Lead weekly contractor safety representatives' meetings made up of trades working Conduct formal safety audits of activities related to construction and equipment installation.
Review contractor JSA's to confirm completeness and accuracy of work being performed.
Lead, support and participate in key safety initiatives Manage multiple reports for local, regional, and regulatory agencies, and internal/global reporting.
Calculate risks and challenge the status quo with deep analysis of the situation.
Develop and present PowerPoint presentations to communicate incident reports, work rule changes, plant status, etc.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading safety on construction projects with multiple trades.
Demonstrated experience managing projects requiring critical thinking (kaizen), problem solving, data analysis & verification.
Required OSHA 30 Construction Industry Outreach Program (U.
S.
) Required OSHA 510 Construction Industry Standards (U.
S.
) Required Knowledge of applicable consensus standards i.
e.
, NFPA 70E/CSA Z462, Preferred Skills:
Preferred A recognized, independent third-party safety certification.
Examples:
CSP/ASP, SMS, CHST, STSC, CSHO, CSHT, etc.
Preferred OSHA 500 Construction Industry Train the Trainer (indicates the ability to communicate safety information to others) Preferred Degree in Occupational Safety, or related field.
Demonstrated experience managing projects requiring critical thinking (kaizen), problem solving, data analysis & verification Capable of developing and delivering presentations, generating effective reports, conducting applicable standards research Manage customer expectations and work to find mutually agreeable solutions.
