Quality Engineer


Job Description:
1.
Coordinates with the quality assurance and engineering department in the development of data collection and analysis techniques including measurement system analysis, and computerization of all systems and studies directed at improving overall plant quality, reliability and productivity.

Maintains customer approved statistical process control program and evaluates and applies metrology and statistical methods used to diagnose and correct quality deficiencies.
4.
Maintains reliable vendor relationships and coordinates the receiving of all raw materials to ensure quality standards, timely delivery and cost efficiency.
5.
Maintains and coordinates testing procedures used in production to ensure acceptable quality levels in conjunction with engineering specification requirements to include development of technique, frequency, and proper documentation and reporting of the results.
6.
Conducts training programs related to quality assurance, which includes proper principles and procedures for statistical process controls.
7.
May conduct customer and supplier quality surveys at various manufacturing facilities, which maintains a standard of quality in raw materials and finished goods.
9.
Tests product samples documenting results for ISIR/PSW submission and approval, coordinates with suppliers for similar submission and approval, and maintains necessary documentation and files for customer quality rating programs.
10.
Assist in determining the deposition of rework and rejected products from customers and suppliers, and prepares the necessary documentation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1.
Experience with operating machines in a machine shop environment (ie Lathe, Mille, Grinder, Drill Press) 2.
Strong process knowledge of engineering changes 3.
Working knowledge in tooling 4.
Continuous Improvement Team involvement 5.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Mini-Tab experience 6.
Strong knowledge of engineering core tools and manufacturing processes including APQP, PFMEA, FMEA & manufacturing specifications 7.
Proficient in line balancing 8.
Proficient in AutoCAD 10.
Ability to work in a team environment 11.
Strong written and verbal communication skills 12.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) STANDARD
Qualifications:
oEducation - Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field.
oExperience - Three years of related experience.
Additional education may be substituted for experience and vice versa.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
