Job Duties:
Traditional packaging engineering responsibilities to include:
1.
Designs expendable and returnable packaging, as required, for products shipped to customers in conjunction with customer requirements and method of shipment requirements.
2.
Develops vendors and obtains pricing for packaging designs.
3.
Approves tooling design and costing for packaging designs.
4.
Develops specifications for testing, as well as coordinating and conducting tests.
Job Requirements:
1.
BS in related area of engineering 2.
1:
4 years packaging engineering experience 3.
Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in following areas:
analytical/problem solving, technical writing, organizational/planning, business software (MS office), written/verbal communication, interpersonal skills Source:
