Summary:
The Designed Fabric Operations Manager position is responsible for ensuring all the goals for the Product Line are met on a daily and weekly basis.
Management may assign additional duties as needed.
Essential Functions:
1.
Manages and coordinates the development of Shift Supervisors in the DF Product Line.
2.
Will maintain and update the metrics board along with the assistance of the Shift Supervisors.
3.
Will organize resources to ensure effective production of product throughout the value stream.
4.
Will conduct Point Kaizen Events to determine and correct root causes of problems that are preventing DF from meeting organizational goals.
5.
Will use Charter Goals along with Team Leader and Shift Supervisors to establish Quality and Productivity Goals for each step of the process.
These goals will be reviewed twice a year.
6.
Will be expected to share their honest opinion with the DF Product Line Manager.
7.
Will audit the auditor once a month for each Shift Supervisor in the Product Line.
8.
Will gain an understanding of the Scheduler functions and serve as a back up for this position.
9.
Will participate in Kaizen events in any of the following roles Team Leader, Event Process Owner or Sponsor.
