We are a fast paced, innovative engineering team working with our internal product teams to deploy automation solutions to enable Amazon's growth and scale.
The Business Analytics and Decision Support (BADS) team curates data for analyses, business reviews and operational reporting demands, and manages an analytics platform for our organization to monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights in support of our customers.
We are seeking an exceptional BI Manager to support the engineering and delivery of our expanding BI project portfolio.
The goal of this platform is to deliver reporting solutions, interactive visualizations and self-service analytics that provides deep insights to support business analysis and decision making.
This is a high visibility role that will be interfacing with business leaders on a regular basis, defining team roadmap and gathering requirements to deliver innovative solutions.
To succeed in this role, you will have strong technical acumen and extensive experience in developing reporting, BI and data warehouse solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, comfortable diving deep and making data driven decisions with a strong customer focus.
This individual must be able to work with multiple business partners, manage expectations and establish priorities.
They must have a solid understanding of both the business and the technical aspects of BI projects.
He or she must drive the completion of projects within the established scope, while also planning for and managing new requirements in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Directly manage and develop a team which would include Business Intelligence Engineers and Business Analysts Engage closely with stakeholders and business leaders to gather requirements, prioritize projects and define team roadmaps Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analytics, dashboards, etc.
to drive key business decisions Conduct deep dive analyses and translate requirements into effective data visualizations and analytical solutions Drive the design, development and implementation of the BI platform to provide stakeholders with access to unstructured and relational data Champion the adoption of self-service analytic tools and reporting environments Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when, and which to use Imagine and develop new ways to present data that adds value and insight Partner closely with other Tech, Product and Data engineering teams on the day-to-day execution of analytics, projects and initiativesLonger term build a Data Science function or collaborate with a Data Science team to create and leverage predictive models that implement data insights at scale.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
